May I extend my congratulations to the management and staff of Silliman University Medical Foundation Incorporated for its pioneering Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory — the first of its kind in Negros Oriental.
With the start of its operations, residents of Dumaguete and the province of Negros Oriental will no longer have to travel outside of the confines of the city and the province just to avail of this very important procedure in diagnosing and treatment of heart diseases and conditions.
This is a laboratory, which will not only save more lives, but also lessen the expenses that will be incurred by the families struggling to survive amidst this crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today’s blessing and dedication of its latest investment — a state-of-the-art laboratory staffed by competent medical practitioners is yet another milestone of the 117-year-old institution that is fully committed to provide quality medical care to all.
Keep safe everyone. God bless us all!
