Thirty-three (33) COVID-19 patients have recovered but 25 new cases were reported Monday by the City Health Office.
Presently, there are 153 active COVID-19 cases with 3, 373 recoveries and 96 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present October 11, 2021.
The 33 new COVID-19 recoveries are residents of Barangays Bajumpandan, Bantayan, Batinguel, Buñao (3), Candau-ay (2), Daro, Junob (6), Looc (2), Piapi (7), Poblacion 4, Poblacion 8, Pulantubig (2) and Taclobo (5).
Meanwhile, the 25 new COVID-19 cases include 2 children, a health worker, a senior citizen, a security guard, 2 students and several individuals with symptoms of Influenza Like Illness.
Of the 153 active COVID cases: 90 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 13 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 24 are admitted at NOPH; 9 are confined at ACE Doctors; 10 at Holy Child Hospital; 5 at Negros Polymedic Hospital and 2 are outside of the city.
