There are now 160 active COVID-19 cases based on the report of the City Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases as of October 10, 2021.
Fifteen (15) of the 30 component barangays disclosed zero to just 3 active COVID-19 cases, while 15 barangays are managing between 4-15 active cases.
Sixty-three (63) of the 160 active COVID-19 cases are in the hospitals while the rest are managed by the City Health Office.
The following is the distribution of the 160 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (4), Bajumpandan 8, Balugo (0), Banilad (7), Bantayan (4), Batinguel 8, Buñao (4), Cadawinonan (3), Calindagan (3), Camanjac (4), Candau-ay 8, Cantil-e (1), Daro (13), Junob (15), Looc (3), Mangnao (15), Motong (3), Piapi (12), Poblacion 1 (3), Poblacion 2 (0), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 4 (1), Poblacion 5 (0), Poblacion 6 (1), Poblacion 7 (0), Poblacion 8 (1), Pulantubig (12), Tabuc-tubig (9), Taclobo (14) and Talay (3).
Of the 161 active COVID patients: 95 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 11 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 23 are admitted at NOPH; 11 are confined at ACE Doctors; 13 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital; 5 are confined at Negros Polymedic Hospital and 2 are presently outside of Dumaguete City.
