City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports 4 new COVID-19 cases with 10 recoveries and 1 death today.
The latest fatality of COVID-19 is a 66-year-old man, who was hospitalized due to dyspnea.
Presently, there are 135 active COVID-19 cases with 3, 284 recoveries and 91 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present October 6, 2021.
Among the 4 new cases are hospital workers and senior citizens from Barangays Bajumpandan, Looc, Piapi and Tabuc-tubig.
Meanwhile, the 10 COVID-19 recoveries include health workers, government employees, a salesman and a plumber.
Of the 135 active COVID cases: 92 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 2 are currently outside of the city; 9 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 13 are admitted at NOPH; 7 are confined at ACE Doctors; 9 at Holy Child Hospital and 3 at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
