There are now 162 active COVID-19 cases based on the report of the City Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases today (October 3, 2021).
Thirty-eight (38) of the active COVID-19 cases are confined in the hospitals while the rest are being managed by the City Health Office and the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams.
The following is the distribution of the 162 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (3), Bajumpandan (9), Balugo (1), Banilad (6), Bantayan 8, Batinguel (9), Buñao 8, Cadawinonan (6), Calindagan (1), Camanjac 4, Candau-ay (15), Cantil-e (11), Daro (16), Junob (9), Looc (6), Mangnao (5), Motong (1), Piapi (7), Poblacion 1 (6), Poblacion 2 (0), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 4 (2), Poblacion 5 (0), Poblacion 6 (0), Poblacion 7 (0), Poblacion 8 (0), Pulantubig (😎, Tabuc-tubig (2), Taclobo (15) and Talay (3).
Of the 162 active COVID patients: 123 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 9 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 13 are admitted at NOPH; 6 are confined at ACE Doctors; 6 at Holy Child Hospital; 4 at Negros Polymedic Hospital and 1 is presently outside of Dumaguete City.
