Twenty-four (24) COVID-19 patients have already recovered to include 6 health workers and 3 BPO employees and shall be released from isolation.
However, 23 new COVID-19 cases are reported also today among them are 4 officials, 3 children and 5 senior citizens.
Presently, Dumaguete City has 149 active COVID-19 cases with 3, 149 recoveries and 84 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to the present September 29, 2021.
The 23 new COVID-19 cases are residents of Barangays Bagacay, Bantayan, Cadawinonan, Candau-ay, Daro, Junob, Looc, Piapi, Pulantubig and Taclobo.
Meanwhile, the 24 new COVID-19 recoveries are residents of Barangays Banilad, Batinguel, Cadawinonan, Calindagan, Cantil-e, Daro, Junob, Mangnao, Piapi, Pulantubig and Taclobo.
Of the 149 active COVID cases: 124 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 1 is currently outside of the city; 8 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 8 are admitted at NOPH; 2 are confined at ACE Doctors; 4 at Holy Child Hospital and 2 at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
