The number of active COVID-19 cases remains at 118 despite the confirmation of 4 new cases as 4 patients have also recovered, Sunday.
Among the 4 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases include a health worker, 2 employees of private companies and a person with Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
Meanwhile, the new COVID-19 recoveries are from barangays Banilad, Candau-ay (2) and Junob.
Presently, Dumaguete City has 118 active COVID-19 cases with 2, 938 recoveries and 82 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to the present September 12, 2021.
Eight of the 30 barangays reported zero active COVID-19 cases namely Balugo, Buñao, Poblacion 1, Poblacion 3, Poblacion 5, Poblacion 6, Tabuc-tubig and Talay.
The following is the distribution of the 118 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (14), Bajumpandan (5), Banilad 8, Bantayan (6), Batinguel (4), Cadawinonan (4), Calindagan (1), Camanjac (1), Candau-ay (12), Cantil-e (6), Daro (10), Junob (9), Looc (1), Mangnao (1), Motong (13), Piapi (3), Poblacion 2 (1), Poblacion 4 (1), Poblacion 7 (1), Poblacion 8 (7), Pulantubig (1) and Taclobo (9).
