No new COVID-19 case or death was confirmed today and 11 barangays reported zero active COVID-19 cases while 11 others are managing just 1 or 2 active cases as of August 29, 2021.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla also reported to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that there are 80 active COVID-19 distributed in 19 of the 30 barangays of the city.
The 11 barangays with zero COVID-19 cases are: Balugo, Buñao, Camanjac, Looc, Poblacion 1, Poblacion 4, Poblacion 5, Poblacion 6, Poblacion 7, Poblacion 8, Pulantubig.
Meanwhile, the following is the distribution of the 80 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (7), Bajumpandan (1), Banilad (2), Bantayan (1), Batinguel (12), Cadawinonan (2), Calindagan (2), Candau-ay (6), Cantil-e (1), Daro 8, Junob (6), Mangnao (2), Motong (9), Piapi (9), Poblacion 2 (1), Poblacion 3 (1), Tabuc-tubig (2), Taclobo (6) and Talay (2).
Of the 80 active COVID cases: 58 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 8 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 7 are admitted at NOPH; 2 are confined at ACE Doctors; 2 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital and 3 are outside of the city.
