Some 26, 888 eligible residents have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of August 28, 2021 by the personnel of the City Health Office and medical volunteers.
Seven hundred twenty-seven (727) residents were vaccinated last Saturday in the 2 vaccination sites at Robinson Mall and Pulantubig Gymnasium.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla disclosed that 16, 574 residents have already received complete doses of the vaccines, including those who were inoculated with the single dose Janssen jabs.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo secured additional 8, 000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from the national government. The latest shipment of COVID jabs is expected to arrive tomorrow.
Of the 26, 888 eligible residents vaccinated: 2, 306 are medical frontliners or (A1); 7, 183 senior citizens (A2); 7, 627 persons with comorbidities (A3); 6, 697 frontline personnel (A4) and 2, 805 indigents (A5) were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
