A medical technologist of the City Government labels the collected urine samples from LGU workers who underwent the surprise random drug test recently.
This series of surprise drug tests is in line with the administration’s campaign for a drugs-free workplace.
In previous years, several employees (regular, casual and Job Order) were dismissed from the service after they tested positive for illegal drugs use and in accordance with due process of law.
Nevertheless, employees who opted to enroll and complete the prescribed community based rehabilitation program can be accepted back in the service.
