Members of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recently approved the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management plan and budget for Fiscal Year 2022 in the amount of P 56.3 million representing the mandatory 5% share of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund of the proposed 2022 annual budget of P 1.1 billion.
The Council, presided by City DRRM Officer Allen Froilan O. Cabaron II, deliberated on the proposed projects, programs and activities for inclusion in the Annual Investment Program for 2022 under disaster prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, rehabilitation and recovery and the Quick Response Fund, which 30% of the LDRRMF.
Also approved in the meeting was the Local Climate Change Action Plan (LCCAP) for 2022 including the status of all programs and activities under the current Fiscal Year 2021.
Both the DRRM Plan and LCCAP will be submitted to the appropriate agencies for further review and later to be incorporated in the proposed 2022 annual budget of the City Government.
