Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo inspects the fresh supply of 11, 500 COVID-19 vaccines that were received by the City Health Office direct from the national government in the past 2 days so that the vaccination of eligible residents will not be disrupted.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla said that more than 38, 000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have already been administered by the City Health office to more than 23, 000 eligible residents (belonging to A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5) using Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Moderna and Janssen jabs as of Tuesday.
Mayor Remollo expressed his gratitude to the National IATF-MEID for sending additional COVID-19 jabs to replenish the supply in response to his appeal so that more people will be vaccinated and help control the spread of the virus.
