Fourteen (14) barangays reported zero active COVID-19 cases while 12 others are managing just 1 or 3 active cases as of August 22, 2021.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla disclosed that there are 60 active COVID-19 cases and all their contacts have been quarantined subject to swab tests.
The following is the distribution of the 60 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (7), Bajumpandan (1), Balugo (0), Banilad (3), Bantayan (3), Batinguel (11), Buñao (0), Cadawinonan (1), Calindagan (0), Camanjac (0), Candau-ay (10), Cantil-e (0), Daro (3), Junob (1), Looc (1), Mangnao (3), Motong (3), Piapi (3), Poblacion 1 (0), Poblacion 2 (0), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 4 (0), Poblacion 5 (0), Poblacion 6 (1), Poblacion 7 (0), Poblacion 8 (0), Pulantubig (0), Tabuc-tubig (0), Taclobo (7) and Talay (2).
Of the 60 active COVID cases: 41 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 10 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 3 are admitted at NOPH; 3 are confined at ACE Doctors and 3 in Holy Child Hospital.
