Two (2) government employees are among the 12 new COVID-19 cases along with 10 recoveries that were reported today (Wednesday).
There are now 50 active COVID-19 cases with 2, 764 recoveries and 79 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to the present July 29, 2021.
The 10 COVID-19 patients who have recovered included 4 members of the same family, a housewife, a security guard, a student, a businessman, a hospital staff and a 57-year-old woman who works from home.
Meanwhile, the 12 new COVID-19 cases are 6 members of the same household, 2 members of a family exposed to a relative who earlier tested for coronavirus, 2 government employees and 2 residents of Barangays Candau-ay and Daro.
All 12 new COVID cases have been isolated and their close contacts placed on mandatory quarantine.
