The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases confirms that no new COVID-19 positive cases or recoveries were reported on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that there are now 63 active COVID cases, 2, 662 recoveries and 77 deaths since the city was affected by the pandemic from January 30, 2020 to July 25, 2021.
Sixteen (16) barangays have reported 0 to only 1 COVID-19 active case.
The 12 barangays with zero active COVID-19 cases are Balugo, Camanjac, Cantil-e, Poblacion 1, Poblacion 2, Poblacion 3, Poblacion 5, Poblacion 6, Poblacion 7, Poblacion 8, Tabuc-tubig and Talay.
Meanwhile, Barangays Banilad, Calindagan, Looc and Poblacion 4 reported just 1 active COVID-19 case each.
Nevertheless, a number of RT-PCR swab tests results for those previously exposed to COVID-19 cases and persons with symptoms of Influenza Like Illness or ILI are still pending and shall be known in the coming days.
