There are now 114 active COVID-19 cases, the lowest since May 14, 2021, based on the report of the City Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases today (July 18, 2021).
In fact, 12 of the 30 barangays report 0 to just 1 active COVID-19 case, while 16 barangays are managing between 2-9 active cases.
However, Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo urged the City Health Office and the barangay officials to maintain its vigilance, strictly enforce health protocols and promptly isolate and treat COVID-19 cases.
The following is the distribution of the 114 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (12), Bajumpandan (4), Balugo (4), Banilad (9), Bantayan (4), Batinguel (6), Buñao (2), Cadawinonan (3), Calindagan (1), Camanjac 8, Candau-ay (3), Cantil-e (0), Daro (9), Junob 8, Looc (1), Mangnao (1), Motong (1), Piapi (14), Poblacion 1 (1), Poblacion 2 (2), Poblacion 3 (0), Poblacion 4 (2), Poblacion 5 (0), Poblacion 6 (1), Poblacion 7 (0), Poblacion 8 (4), Pulantubig (7), Tabuc-tubig (0), Taclobo (6) and Talay (1).
Of the 114 active COVID patients: 85 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 13 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 3 are admitted at NOPH; 5 are confined at ACE Doctors; 2 at Holy Child Hospital; 1 at Negros Polymedic Hospital; 2 active cases are at the Provincial Designated Isolation Facility and 3 are presently outside of Dumaguete City.
