The City Health Office reports 25 COVID-19 recoveries, 6 new cases with 1 death based on the latest release of swab test results, Sunday.
Meanwhile, 124 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) completed today the 14-day quarantine without showing COVID like symptoms, thus cleared to return to their families.
Presently, the city has 178 active COVID-19 cases, 2, 444 recoveries and 68 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present July 11, 2021.
The 25 new recoveries are residents of Barangays Bagacay (1); Bajumpandan (1); Banilad (5); Cadawinonan (1); Camanjac (4); Candau-ay (2); Cantil-e (2); Junob (2); Looc (1); Poblacion 2 (1); Poblacion 4 (1); Poblacion 8 (1); Tabuctubig (2) and Taclobo (1).
Meanwhile, the 6 new COVID-19 cases are residents of Barangays Calindagan, Camanajac, Daro, Junob, Looc and Poblacion.
An 80-year-old senior citizen who showed symptoms of Influenza Like Illness was the latest lone fatality of COVID-19.
