Several violators have been apprehended for not wearing face masks and for drinking liquor despite the prohibition due to the imposition of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine or MECQ.
Health Marshals, led by City Executive Assistant for Security Concerns retired General Rey Lyndon Lawas, brought the violators to the City Police Station for proper disposition.
Pursuant to Executive Order 20 of Governor Roel Degamo that drinking or selling of liquor is strictly prohibited.
Food establishments are warned that dine-in is prohibited as only take out or delivery shall be allowed to prevent gatherings and reduce close physical contacts.
Authorities also remind the members of the public that curfew is between 10 o’clock in the evening until 5 o’clock in the morning of the following day.
