Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo disclosed that thousands of additional vials of COVID-19 vaccines will be arriving this week for eligible residents of Dumaguete City as
Almost 11, 000 residents belonging to priority groups A1 (medical frontliners), A2 (Senior Citizens); A3 (Persons with Comorbidities) and A4 (frontline personnel in essential sectors, including uniformed personnel) have already been vaccinated by the City Health Office and volunteers from different organizations.
Mayor Remollo again lauded the valuable assistance that the volunteer doctors and nurses, including the members of the Philippine National Red Cross Negros Oriental Chapter and Sangguniang Kabataan under President Renz Macion in meeting the manpower requirement to accelerate the vaccination of more eligible residents.
All those belonging to A1, A2, A3 and A4 categories, who have registered, are advised to wait for the call or notification from the City Health Office confirming your schedule and place of vaccination.
To ensure the orderly conduct of vaccination and avoid overcrowding, walk-ins are discouraged.
