The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases reports a total of 150 active COVID-19 cases following the recovery of 40patients today (July 5, 2021).
Twenty-one (21) of the 30 barangays are managing between 0-9 active COVID-19 cases while 9 barangays have 10-34 active cases.
Three barangays Balugo, Poblacion 2 and Poblacion 5 registered zero COVID-19 active cases while 22 barangays are managing between 1-9 active COVID cases only.
The following is the distribution of the 150 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (7), Bajumpandan (2), Balugo (0), Banilad (14), Bantayan (6), Batinguel (9), Buñao (2), Cadawinonan (2), Calindagan (6), Camanjac 8, Candau-ay (10), Cantil-e (2), Daro (15), Junob (13), Looc (2), Mangnao (6), Motong (5), Piapi (4), Poblacion 1 (1), Poblacion 2 (0), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 4 (1), Poblacion 5 (0), Poblacion 6 (2), Poblacion 7 (1), Poblacion 8 (3), Pulantubig (2), Tabuc-tubig (6), Taclobo (17) and Talay (3).
Of the 150 active COVID patients: 77 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 23 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 5 are admitted at NOPH; 12 are confined at ACE Doctors; 5 at Holy Child Hospital; 4 at Negros Polymedic Hospital; 12 active cases are at the Provincial Designated Isolation Facility; 2 are presently outside of Dumaguete City and 10 are hospital workers in a separate accredited isolation facility.
