Authorities warned parents anew that keeping their children at home is the most prudent thing to do to keep the family safe from COVID-19.
This reminder is issued again as a number of children continue to engage in contact sports outside of their homes in defiance to the mandate that all persons below 18-year-old are required to stay inside their residences.
Health Marshals, including the PNP contingent led by the City Chief-of-Police Lt. Col. Joeson B. Parallag, conducted patrol to enforce the minimum health standards such as wearing of face masks at all times, social distancing, prohibition of dine-in services in food establishments and the suspension of operations of personal care services(beauty salons, barber shops, parlors etc.).
The City’s Health Marshals are composed of personnel from the City Health Office, Philippine National Police, Traffic Management Office, Special Enforcement Unit, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Department Trade Industry, City Social Welfare and Development Office, City Administrator’s Office and Bureau of Fire Protection.
