About 9, 500 eligible residents have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of July 2, 2021 in the two different sites by the personnel of the City Health Office and several medical volunteers.
On Friday, 501 residents received their COVID-19 jabs administered in the 2 vaccination sites at Pulantubig Gym and Robinson Place Dumaguete.
This developed as the CHO has already started vaccinating residents belonging to A4 (frontline personnel in essential sectors, including uniformed personnel) this Friday.
Of the 9, 500 eligible residents vaccinated: 1, 195 are medical frontliners or (A1); 5, 306 senior citizens (A2); 2, 935 persons with comorbidities (A3) and 64 frontline personnel (A4) were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
A total of 10, 253 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered including 753 for 2nd dose.
Senior citizens, persons with comorbidities and frontline personnel in essential sector, who have registered, are reminded to wait for the call or notification from the City Health Office that will confirm their schedule and place of vaccination.
To ensure the orderly conduct of vaccination and avoid overcrowding, walk-ins are discouraged.
