The City Health Office reports 37 COVID-19 recoveries with 17 new cases and 1 death based on the latest release of swab test results, Thursday.
The latest fatality COVID-19 is a 20-year-old man with a tumor in his lungs.
Presently, the city has 191 active COVID-19 cases, 2, 264 recoveries and 66 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present July 1, 2021.
The 37 COVID-19 recoveries are residents of the following barangays: Bagacay (1); Balugo (1); Banilad (3), Bantayan (5), Batinguel (8); Buñao (2); Candau-ay (1); Daro (3); Junob (1); Looc (3); Mangnao (1); Motong (2); Poblacion 2 (1); Poblacion 7 (1); Pulantubig (1) and Taclobo (3).
Meanwhile, the 17 new COVID-19 cases are residents of the following barangays: Bagacay (1); Bajumpandan (1); Banilad (3); Batinguel (1); Cadawinonan (1); Calindagan (4); Candau-ay (1); Daro (2); Motong (1); Tabuc-tubig (1) and Taclobo (1).
