The number of active COVID-19 cases in Dumaguete City has declined to 191 taking into account the new confirmed cases and recoveries as of July 1, 2021.
Four (4) large barangays registered the most number of COVID-19 active cases, 7 other barangays have 1 active case each while 3 barangays (Cantil-e, Poblacion 1 and Poblacion 2) recorded 0 active case.
The following is the distribution of the 191 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (15), Bajumpandan (4), Balugo (4), Banilad (13), Bantayan (6), Batinguel (18), Buñao (3), Cadawinonan (5), Calindagan (11), Camanjac (6), Candau-ay (16), Cantil-e (0), Daro (22), Junob (17), Looc (2), Mangnao (6), Motong (4), Piapi (6), Poblacion 1 (0), Poblacion 2 (0), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 4 (1), Poblacion 5 (1), Poblacion 6 (1), Poblacion 7 (1), Poblacion 8 (1), Pulantubig (1), Tabuc-tubig (7), Taclobo (17) and Talay (2).
Of the 191 active COVID-19 cases: 127 are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 17 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 8 at NOPH; 4 at Holy Child Hospital; 7 are admitted at ACE Doctors; 5 at Negros Polymedic Hospital; 12 active cases are at the Provincial Designated Isolation Facility; 1 is presently outside of Dumaguete City and 10 are hospital workers in a separate accredited isolation facility.
