The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases reports a total of 234 active COVID-19 cases following the recovery of 50 patients today (June 29, 2021).
Twenty-one (21) of the 30 barangays are managing between 0-9 active COVID-19 cases while 9 barangays have 10-34 active cases.
The following is the distribution of the 234 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (14), Bajumpandan (7), Balugo (6), Banilad (11), Bantayan (12), Batinguel (34), Buñao (3), Cadawinonan (4), Calindagan (10), Camanjac (4), Candau-ay (16), Cantil-e (3), Daro (23), Junob (19), Looc (9), Mangnao (😎, Motong (5), Piapi 8, Poblacion 1 (0), Poblacion 2 (1), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 4 (1), Poblacion 5 (1), Poblacion 6 (1), Poblacion 7 (2), Poblacion 8 (1), Pulantubig (3), Tabuc-tubig (6), Taclobo (19) and Talay (2).
Of the 234 active COVID-19 cases, 44 are admitted in the hospitals while the rest of the active cases are handled by the City Health Office in the various isolation facilities.
Specifically, 167 active COVID-19 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 12 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 12 at NOPH; 5 at Holy Child Hospital; 12 are admitted at ACE Doctors; 3 at Negros Polymedic Hospital; 14 active cases are at the Provincial Designated Isolation Facility; 1 is presently outside of Dumaguete City and 8 are hospital workers in a separate accredited isolation facility.
