The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases reported 11 new COVID-19 cases with 7 recoveries, Sunday.
Hence, from January 30, 2020 to June 27, 2021, the city has 325 active COVID cases with 1, 916 recoveries and 65 deaths.
The 11 new COVID-19 cases are residents of Barangays Banilad, Bantayan, Batinguel, Buñao, Daro, Motong, Pulantubig and Taclobo.
Meanwhile, the 7 new recoveries are from Barangay Motong (5), Bajumpandan (1) and Poblacion 6 (1).
Based on the consolidated reports of the City Health Office the following is the distribution of the 325 active COVID-19 cases in the barangays who are now isolated:
Bagacay (16), Bajumpandan (9), Balugo (10), Banilad (12), Bantayan (14), Batinguel (34), Buñao (10), Cadawinonan (14), Calindagan (18), Camanjac (11), Candau-ay (15), Cantil-e (6), Daro (29), Junob (15), Looc (15), Mangnao (6), Motong 8, Piapi (13), Poblacion 1 (0), Poblacion 2 (1), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 4 (0), Poblacion 5 (3), Poblacion 6 (0), Poblacion 7 (6), Poblacion 8 (12), Pulantubig (7), Tabuc-tubig 8, Taclobo (30) and Talay (2).
Of the 325 active COVID-19 cases, 253 active cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 17 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 12 at NOPH; 12 are admitted at ACE Doctors; 5 at Holy Child Hospital; 3 at Negros Polymedic Hospital; 14 are at the Provincial Designated Isolation Facility; 3 are now outside of Dumaguete City and 6 are hospital workers in a separate accredited isolation facility.
