The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases reports a total of 287 active COVID-19 cases as of Friday, June 25, 2021.
Based on the consolidated reports of the City Health Office the following is the distribution of the 287 active COVID-19 cases in the barangays who are now isolated:
Bagacay (14), Bajumpandan (9), Balugo (9), Banilad (9), Bantayan (14), Batinguel (29), Buñao (9), Cadawinonan (11), Calindagan (18), Camanjac 8, Candau-ay (12), Cantil-e (4), Daro (28), Junob (11), Looc (17), Mangnao (4), Motong (17), Piapi (12), Poblacion 1 (0), Poblacion 2 (1), Poblacion 3 (0), Poblacion 4 (0), Poblacion 5 (2), Poblacion 6 (1), Poblacion 7 (5), Poblacion 8 (10), Pulantubig (4), Tabuc-tubig 8, Taclobo (19) and Talay (2).
Of the active COVID-19 cases, 49 are admitted in the 5 hospitals while the rest of the active cases are handled by the City Health Office in the various isolation facilities.
Specifically, 219 active cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 18 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 12 at NOPH; 5 at Holy Child Hospital; 11 are admitted at ACE Doctors; 3 at Negros Polymedic Hospital; 10 active case is at the Provincial Designated Isolation Facility; 3 are those outside of Dumaguete City and 6 are hospital workers in a separate accredited isolation facility.
