Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo has instructed the City Health Office to open additional COVID-19 vaccination posts to accommodate more eligible residents.
The City Health Office is currently operating 3 vaccination posts that are inoculating the senior citizens and persons with comorbidities.
As of today, more than 6, 483 medical frontliners, senior citizens and persons with comorbidities have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Vaccination posts must be evaluated and duly accredited with the Department of Health that must comply with the minimum health standards with complete equipment for disinfection and sanitation.
A vaccination post must have a full complement of health workers with adequate space for waiting area, registration, pre-vaccination counseling and final consent, screening, vaccination and post-vaccination monitoring and surveillance.
