About 6, 483 eligible residents of Dumaguete City have already received their COVID-19 jabs as Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo instructed the City Health Office to deploy more vaccinators as a means to increase the number of people vaccinated on a daily basis.
Specifically, 956 medical frontliners (A1); 4, 412 senior citizens (A2) and 1, 115 persons with comorbidities (A3) were vaccinated as of June 23, 2021 based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.

Mayor Remollo will be appealing directly to the national government for more COVID-19 vaccines slated to arrive in the coming days.
Senior citizens and persons with comorbidities, who have registered, are reminded to wait for the call or notification from the City Health Office that will confirm their schedule and place of vaccination.
To ensure the orderly conduct of vaccination and avoid overcrowding, walk-ins are discouraged.
