Key officers at the Emergency Operations Center conduct daily briefing with concerned agencies and organizations on how to strengthen and improve the strategies to prevent COVID-19 transmission and containment of confirmed cases including their close contacts.
Executive Assistant for Security Concerns retired General Rey Lyndon Lawas, who is also the EOC Manager, will soon meet with hospital administrators to synchronize the policies on the admission of patients and develop means to maximize use of hospital beds.
It was also suggested that community kitchens will be set up in the barangays to speed up the preparation of food for COVID cases in isolation as the Bureau of Fire Protection and Philippine Coast Guard have committed their vehicles in the distribution of the meals.
Also present during the morning briefing were City DRMMO Allen Cabaron, Dr. Kenneth Coo, NOMS President Dr. Joven Occeña, Dennis Ato from the Office of Civil Defense, City PIO Katherine Aguilar, Ms. Vanessa Campoy representative of the City Health Office and the Philippine National Police.
