Health marshals led by Executive Assistant for Security Concerns retired General Rey Lyndon Lawas and City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla patrolled the streets and business establishments to enforce minimum health standards and protocols while Dumaguete City is under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) for the next 2 weeks.
Food establishments are warned that dine-in is prohibited only take out or delivery shall be allowed to prevent gatherings and reduce close contacts.
Pursuant to Executive Order 20 of Governor Roel Degamo that drinking or selling of liquor is strictly prohibited.
Gatherings outside of residence and/or at residence, with any person outside of one’s immediate household are prohibited.
Authorities also remind the members of the public that curfew is between 10 o’clock in the evening until 5 o’clock in the morning of the following day.
