Taking into account the newly confirmed COVID-19 cases, recoveries and deaths, the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases reports a total of 577 active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
Based on the consolidated reports of the City Health Office the following is the distribution of the 577 active COVID-19 cases who are now isolated:
Bagacay (31), Bajumpandan (24), Balugo (23), Banilad (34), Bantayan (31), Batinguel (33), Buñao (7), Cadawinonan (26), Calindagan (30), Camanjac (17), Candau-ay (22), Cantil-e (6), Daro (38), Junob (32), Looc (13), Mangnao (25), Motong (29), Piapi (52), Poblacion 1 (0), Poblacion 2 (0), Poblacion 3 (3), Poblacion 4 (2), Poblacion 5 (1), Poblacion 6 (1), Poblacion 7 (2), Poblacion 8 (17), Pulantubig (28), Tabuc-tubig (9), Taclobo (23) and Talay (18).
Of the 577 active COVID-19 cases, 53 are admitted in the hospitals while the rest of the active cases are handled by the City Health Office in the various isolation facilities.
Specifically, 486 active cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 20 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 14 at NOPH; 4 at Holy Child Hospital; 11 are admitted at ACE Doctors; 4 at Negros Polymedic Hospital; 13 active case is at the Provincial Designated Isolation Facility; 16 are those outside of Dumaguete City and 9 are hospital workers in a separate accredited isolation facility.
