The City of Dumaguete deeply condoles with the bereaved family of the late Atty. Antonio S. Ramas-Uypitching Sr., who passed away this morning, June 3, 2021.
Atty. Uypitching Sr. was a sterling citizen of Dumaguete City, having served the community in several capacities – foremost as City Councilor from 1980 to 1986.
He was also a past master of the Mt. Kaladias Lodge No. 91, a former president of the Dumaguete Lions Club, YMCA, Jaycees International, and the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Holy Cross High School, and the Negros Oriental Mental Health Association.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Karen, sons Atty. Ngo An (wife Maresa) Tyronne (wife Nancy) and Don, with siblings Dr. Nicolas Ramas-Uypitching and Basilisa Po, with the grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
