Government responders demonstrated what they learned from the instructors on how to properly come to the aid of victims during emergency situation in different scenarios on the 2nd say of the Emergency Medical Responder and Basic Life Support CPR Certification Training at the Talay Gymnasium conducted by ONE-RESCUE-EMS.
As part of the drill, the participants were also taught how to get the vital signs of victims for proper handling and endorsement to the attending physicians.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo approved the 5-day training for the city’s responders to enhance their skills and boost readiness so they can adequately handle crisis situations.
The participants of the training are mainly personnel from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office along with some representatives from the Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Fire Protection and the Philippine Army.
