Prospective contractors participated in last week’s pre-bid conference with the City Bids and Awards Committee to clarify on some details of the project construction of Evacuation and Multi-Purpose Center with a budget of P 35 million.
Sealed bids and proposals will be received at the Office of the General Services not later than April 29, 2021 with the bid opening also set on the same day at 10:00am. Late bids will not be accepted.
The soon-to-be constructed edifice will be named as Calenica G. Pal Building 2, even as its twin Calenica G. Pal Building 1 is undergoing construction opposite its location, in the one-hectare lot adjacent to Batinguel Elementary School that was donated by the Pal family.
The buildings can be used as a vocational technical school and dormitories for students and/or learners under the Department of Education and as evacuation center.
