The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases confirms that no new COVID-19 positive cases or recoveries were reported on Monday, April 5, 2021.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that there are 33 active COVID cases, 479 recoveries and 30 deaths.
Meanwhile, 19 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine without showing any signs and symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
The City Health Office conducted RT-PCR swab testing to about 25 individuals in several barangays Monday morning; most of those tested were exposed to COVID-19 positive cases. Results of the swab tests will be known in the coming days.
