Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo led city government officials and other representatives of national agencies in engaging with barangay residents and officials as the DILG mandated assemblies were held this weekend.
In Poblacion 1 (Tinago) Mayor Remollo presented the proposed infrastructure projects that will not only protect the lives and properties in the area but provide additional public spaces for various types of events and recreation to decongest the city’s proper.
The other barangays like Banilad also listened to Executive Assistant for Security Concerns retired General Rey Lyndon Lawas along with the PNP discussed the programs and initiatives undertaken by the authorities to improve prevent and solve crimes.
Other issues discussed in the assemblies of Barangay Cantil-e, Motong and others are the COVID-19 health protocols and the enhanced implementation of the solid waste management as a responsibility beginning in the households with the goal of closing the city’s dumpsite soon.
