City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla said that about 90 COVID-19 frontliners were vaccinated today while the remaining 60 other personnel in the priority list will receive their shots tomorrow.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo said that among those who were vaccinated with SinoVac or AstraZeneca shots were doctors (including Dr. Socrates Villamor of DOH Negros Oriental) nurses, midwives, BHWs, medical technologists, rescuers, contact tracers and other CHO staff.
The administration of COVID-19 vaccines among the government frontliners went smoothly today and it is expected by Dr. Talla that it will only take half day to finish the vaccination of the remaining 60 other health workers.
