A 79-year-old senior citizen, who was hospitalized since Wednesday, died of COVID-19 Sunday as confirmed by the hospital.
The latest fatality had other comorbidities with final diagnosis include acute respiratory failure, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, HCVD and pneumonia-high risk (COVID-19).
Nevertheless, there are no new COVID cases reported today.
Hence, there are 13 active COVID-19 cases, 456 recoveries and 30 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to March 22, 2021.
