Hundreds of pupils of West City Elementary School will soon utilize the newly completed 2 units of 3-storey buildings once face-to-face classes are allowed to resume.
Dumaguete City Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo led a delegation of city officials during Friday afternoon’s inauguration of the 3-story buildings with the top officials of Deped Central and Region 7 offices Undersecretary for Administration Alain Del Pascua, Information and Communications Technology Service Director Abram Abanil and Regional Director Salustiano Jimenez
Deped Secretary Leonor Magtolis-Briones joined the ceremony virtually from the Central Office and affirmed the remarks of Mayor Remollo that WCES has always been known for the quality and brilliance of their learners as well as the competence of their teachers.
Secretary Briones hopes that with the completion of 18 new classrooms and the help of the City Government of Dumaguete, WCES’s tradition of excellence will be sustained. WCES has 3, 800 pupils more than 500 of them transferred from private schools. In order to build the 18 new classrooms
