The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases confirms today that no new COVID-19 positive cases were reported Sunday.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that there are 14 active COVID cases, 456 recoveries and 29 deaths since the COVID-19 pandemic affected the City from January 30, 2020 to March 21, 2021.
It was noted that the 3 active COVID cases in Barangay Batinguel belong to the same family (wife, husband and son); 2 cases in Barangay Buñao belong to the same household while the 2 active cases in Barangay Camanjac are husband and wife.
Meanwhile, 3 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) begin their strict and mandatory 14-day quarantine after they were exposed to COVID Positive cases in Barangay Buñao and Amlan.
On the other hand, 7 PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine without showing any signs and symptoms of ILI.
