Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo presented today the various programs, projects, initiatives and activities being implemented by his administration that benefit the present and future generations of women and children.
This year’s women’s summit, which brings together advocates of women and children, was organized by City Councilor Lilani Ramon, Chaiperson of the Committee on Women, Children and Special Needs with, Local Council of Women GAD, KALIPI and CSWDO at the residence of Mayor Remollo, Tuesday.
Among the speakers of the event are Prosecutor Lalaine Erames-Cimafranca, Prosecutor May Flor V. Duka and Atty. Carol Solatorio of GWAVE who shared their legal inputs how to promote the rights of women and children; fighting human trafficking and how to file a case with the Regional Trial Court that could withstand a trial.
Also present to lend support to the celebration are Councilors Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Michael Bandal, Manuel Patrimonio, Liga ng mga Barangay President Dionie Amores and Executive Assistant for Security Affairs Retired General Rey Lyndon Lawas.
Accordingly, this year’s women’s month celebration gives tribute to #SuperJuanas who fulfill various roles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
