The City Health Office confirms today that no new COVID-19 cases were reported and that 2 COVID-19 patients have recovered as of Monday evening.
The 2 new COVID-19 recoveries are the 55-year-old employee of the Hall of Justice from Barangay Batinguel and the 22-year-old female LSI from Cebu but a resident of Barangay Bunao.
With this development, City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informed Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, that there are now just 6 active COVID-19 positive cases, 451 recoveries and 29 deaths as of March 15, 2021.
Meanwhile, 2 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMS) begin their strict and mandatory 14-day quarantine in the designated isolation facilities after exhibiting symptoms of Influenza Like Illness.
On the other hand, PUMs were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine without showing any signs and symptoms of ILI.
