In the most recent report, the number of crime incidents dropped by 48.6% in the first 2 months of 2021 (January to February 21, 2021) compared to the same period in 2020.
The Dumaguete City Police Station informed the City Peace and Order Council that 259 crime incidents were reported to the authorities from January-February 21 2020 compared to 133 incidents in 2021.
