The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office formally received today the newly acquired brand new rescue vehicle, which was blessed by Father Alvin Villaflores at the City Hall Quadrangle, Wednesday afternoon.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo inspected the vehicle and its equipment with Councilor Karissa Tolentino, SK President Renz Macion, City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah, Executive Assistant for Security Concerns retired General Rey Lyndon Lawas, Dumaguete City Chief-of-Police Lt. Col. Ramoncelio Sawan and Police Lt. Bobby Fulmaran.
The rescue vehicle has a wide array of medical equipment and supplies with a 3-year warranty period.
The acquisition of the brand new rescue vehicle further augments the ability of the CDRRMO to respond to requests for emergency assistance.
