City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla disclosed that there are 20 active COVID-19 cases following 1 death reported today.
Since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to March 1, 2021 a total of 471 COVID-19 cases were recorded: 20 active cases; 422 recoveries and 29 deaths.
The deceased was identified as the 54 year-old female teacher and a resident of Barangay Candau-ay, who was admitted at a private hospital.
Meanwhile, 29 Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs) were released today after they completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine in the different isolation facilities without showing any signs and symptoms of ILI.
None of the 276 PUMs seen and examined by the City Health workers manifested symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
