Fourteen city government employees formally took their oaths of office last week after they were promoted by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo in recognition of their hardwork and dedication to service.
Mayor Remollo stressed that the newly promoted/regularized employees underwent the rigid screening process and were selected based on merits.
Among the newly promoted employees are Teresita Tracy S. Sumalinog from the City Accounting Office; Virgilia F. Cornelia and Imelda Q. Banabana of the City Administrator’s Office; Antonio Dannis P. Lacaya, Lyndon M. Gatoc and Alfonsa T. Pacatang of the City Assessor’s Office; Engr. Rodulfo B. Eparwa of the City Engineer’s Office; Maria Teresa P. Tan of the General Services Office; Bernardina Rowena E. Duran of the Internal Audit Unit; Allen Froilan O. Cabaron II and Dems Rey T. Demecillo of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office; Engr. Emmylou T. Cornelio of the City Planning and Development Office; Rodolfo C. Taclap Jr. of the City Treasurer’s Office and Eduardo Y. David of the City Veterinary Office.
Mayor Remollo said that another batch of promotions will be announced in the coming weeks after the requirements and processes are completed.
Councilors Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Manuel Sagarbarria, Lilani Ramon, Michael Bandal, Liga ng mga Barangay President Dionie Amores, Executive Assistant for Security Affairs Retired General Rey Lyndon Lawas, City Human Resource Management Officer Dr. Dinno T. Depositario, department heads and the families of the newly promoted employees witnessed last week’s oath taking ceremony.
