Five (5) health workers are among the newly confirmed 12 COVID-19 cases with 3 recoveries as reported today by the City Health Office.
The new COVID-19 patients include nurses, a doctor, a medical technologist and close contacts of individuals, who earlier tested positive for COVID.
However, among the 3 recoveries are health workers and 1 senior citizen.
There are now 77 active COVID cases, 312 recoveries and 21 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to February 2, 2021.
BARANGAY CANDAU-AY (3): 61-year-old male senior citizen who was admitted for showing symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI), 46-year-old female teacher exposed to a COVID-19 positive case and 64-year-old wife of NEGOR-COV 1364
BARANGAY BANILAD (2): 30-year-old female nurse with ILI and 34-year-old nurse and sister of a COVID case
BARANGAY TACLOBO (2): 86-year-old male senior citizen with comorbidity; no history of travel but had fever and 24-year-old medical technologist with symptoms of ILI
BARANGAY BANTAYAN: 43-year-old nurse supervisor with no known contacts
BARANGAY BATINGUEL: 50-year-old woman admitted at the hospital with fever and asthma
BARANGAY CALINDAGAN: 10-year-old son of a COVID positive case
BARANGAY MANGNAO: 67-year-old doctor admitted at the hospital with symptoms of ILI
BARANGAY PULANTUBIG: 46-year-old wife of a COVID positive case and admitted with symptoms of ILI
BARANGAY PIAPI: 25-year-old health worker with history of ILI and a close contact of a COVID case, who is a co-worker
BARANGAY CALINDAGAN: 39-year-old health worker with diabetes and asthma
BARANGAY BUNAO: 61-year-old female senior citizen with symptoms of ILI
