City Chief-of-Police Lt. Col Mark Gifter Sucalit reports that about 43 persons have already been apprehended for not wearing face masks and for violating the 10:00 PM city curfew.
Both Liga ng mga President Dionie Amores and City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla appeal to the citizens to observe the health protocols and the curfew considering that the penalty for non-wearing of face masks alone is P 3, 000 or detention.
Amores, who is the Chairperson for the Committee on Peace and Order, stressed that more patrols and apprehensions will be made to help prevent the surge of COVID-19 cases.
