The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases confirms 11 additional COVID-19 cases, 4 of them are policemen assigned outside Dumaguete City, along with 17 recoveries today.
There are now 71 active COVID-19 cases, 221 recoveries and 13 deaths since the pandemic affected the City from January 30, 2020 to the present January 14, 2021.
BARANGAY BATINGUEL (4): 36-year-old daughter of a COVID patient; 12-year-old granddaughter of a COVID patient; 32-year-old female house helper and 49-year-old male government employee
BARANGAY TACLOBO (3): the 17-year-old son and 20-year-old daughter of NEGOR-COV 904 and a 33-year-old male government employee
BARANGAY PIAPI (2): the 10-year-old granddaughter and the 42-year-old female government employee who were exposed to a family member with COVID-19
BARANGAY CANTIL-E: a 31-year-old male government employee
BARANGAY BUÑAO: 52-year-old woman with no known exposure to COVID positive
POBLACION 4 (6): 28-year-old businesswoman; 26-year-old fireman assigned in San Jose; 4-year-old son of NEGOR-COV 934; 21-year-old female student; 21-year-old dressmaker and the 40-year-old embalmer from Bacong
BARANGAY PIAPI (3): three members of a family, who were exposed to COVID-19 patients to include the 68-year-old retiree, 42-year-old businesswoman and 5-year-old son of COVID patients
BARANGAY MOTONG (2): the 13-year-old daughter and 14-year-old granddaughter of NEGOR-COV 776
BARANGAY CALINDAGAN (2): 76-year-old male with history of Influenza Like Illness (ILI) and a 52-year-old security guard
POBLACION 1 (2): 54-year-old mother of NEOR-COV 812 and 49-year-old who was probably infected by NEGOR-COV 935
BARANGAY TACLOBO (1): 18-year-old house helper of a couple who earlier tested positive of COVID
BARANGAY BAJUMPANDAN: 58-year-old male admitted at a private hospital
About 11 known close contacts of COVID-19 positive cases have been placed under quarantine.
